Abstract: Under the process of globalization, modern logistics industry grows rapidly, which draws many scholars’attention in western countries. However, the research on the relationships between modern logistics industry and urban spatial structure was neglected., except several papers about the logistics spatial organization. Based on the relevant literature, we found research about the spatial organization of logistics industry belongs urban geography and transportation geography. This paper summarizes the performance and mechanism of interaction between modern logistics industry and urban spatial structure . Logistics mainly affects urban spatial structure through two perspectives of economical impact and government regulation. The spatial layout of logistics promotes the expansion of urban space and change the structure and function of urban land. Finally, the article puts forward several advices for the future research about the relationships between modern logistics industry and urban spatial structure.
