World Regional Studies adopts the international customary two-way anonymous review system to ensure the objectivity and fairness of the process, and the peer review comments are an important reference for our journal to decide whether the manuscript is accepted or not. The rules and details of the review are as follows.
1. Manuscripts that pass the initial review will enter the peer review stage (external review).
2. Reviewers and authors are not in the same unit or subject, the editor does not disclose each other's names and units to authors and reviewers, and cross-disciplinary manuscripts are sent to experts of different disciplines for review.
3. Authors have the right to propose reviewers (generally no more than 2) who need to be recused when submitting a manuscript.
4. Authors may recommend reviewers, and any reviewer recommended by the authors will be included in the pool of reviewers of the journal and become a candidate reviewer of the manuscript.
5. The ways to select experts include the Journal's dynamic pool of review experts, references of the submitted manuscripts, and large literature search platforms; review experts are selected from the subject terms or major keywords of the incoming manuscripts to ensure the coincidence of research directions.
6. Reviewers should provide their opinions in an impartial and objective manner to inform the editorial board's decisions and help authors improve the quality of their papers.
7. The results of the expert processing include four types: "publication", "publication after revision", "re-review after revision", and "rejection". Types
