Spatial transfer characteristics and influencing factors of innovation in manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt

长江经济带制造业创新能力空间转移特征及影响因素

Abstract:

Based on the innovation output data of 31 subdivided industries in 110 prefecture-level cities of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2001 to 2016, the spatial shift-share analysis model and geographical detector were used to analyze the characteristics and influencing factors of the spatial transfer of manufacturing innovation capacity. The findings are as follows :(1) the innovation structure of the manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is not stable, the number of medium innovation industries is small, and there is no "backbone" support. (2) The lower reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Belt have a good momentum of innovation development, but lack of innovation cooperation;The innovation and development of the middle reaches are stable, and the advantages of different provinces are different. However, regional advantages should be enhanced and industrial competitiveness should be strengthened.The trend of industrial innovation development in the upstream region is weakened, while Yunnan has obvious advantages as a latecomer.(3) The innovative development of high-innovation industries shows a trend of gradually spreading to the whole Yangtze River Economic Belt;The Chinese innovative industries tend to cluster in the Yangtze River Delta, and some industries, mainly pharmaceutical manufacturing, migrate to the west.The low innovation industry shows the transfer rule from scattered distribution to "hollowing out" flake concentrated in the inland area.(4) The level of economic foundation, innovation input and infrastructure has a greater impact on the growth of innovation capacity of the manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, while the level of informatization, education, economic openness and human capital have a smaller impact.

摘要:

基于2001—2016年长江经济带110个地级市31个细分产业的创新产出数据,利用空间偏离-份额分析模型和地理探测器,对制造业创新能力空间转移特征和影响因素进行分析。研究发现:(1)长江经济带制造业创新结构稳定性不强,中创新产业数量偏少,缺乏“中坚”力量支撑。(2)长江经济带下游创新发展态势优良,但缺乏创新合作;中游地区创新发展稳定,各省优势互异,但须提升区位优势,加强产业竞争力;上游地区产业创新发展态势减弱,而云南后发优势明显。(3)高创新产业的创新发展呈现出向长江经济带整体逐渐扩散的趋势;中创新产业呈现出向长三角区域集聚,以医药制造业为主的部分产业向西部转移的规律;低创新产业呈现出从零星分布到片状集中于内陆地区的转移规律。(4)经济基础、创新投入和基础设施水平对长江经济带制造业创新能力增长的影响较大,信息化程度、教育水平、经济开放程度以及人力资本的影响较小。
