Abstract: With the rapid development of tourism industry, the energy consumption and carbon emission in tourism industry has become one of the important factors affecting global climate change. This paper summarized the research course of the energy consumption and carbon emission in tourism industry, and reviewed measuring energy consumption and carbon emission for regional tourism and tourism sectors, and the countermeasures for coping with carbon emission in tourism. Based on the comparison of research progress, methods and contexts of energy consumption and carbon emission in the tourism industry across China and in other countries, this paper suggested that more attention should be focused on quantitative research of key sectors, scenario analysis and dynamic forecasting, and deepening the research content of energy consumption and carbon emission in tourism industry in China. The results would provide a scientific basis for conserving energy and reducing carbon emission, and low-carbon development of tourism industry in China.

摘要： 随着旅游业的快速发展，旅游业能源消耗和碳排放已成为影响全球气候变化的重要因素之一。在概述国内外旅游业能源消耗和碳排放研究历程的基础上，对区域旅游和旅游业各部门的能耗和碳排放测度、旅游业应对碳排放的对策等方面内容进行了系统的梳理和分析。基于国内外旅游业能源消耗和碳排放的研究进程、研究方法和研究内容的对比分析，提出未来国内研究应加强旅游业能耗和碳排放重点领域的定量测度，加强情景分析和动态预测，深化研究内容，为我国旅游业节能减排、低碳发展提供科学依据。
