Study on space of commuting behavior and perception——the case of Fuzhou
    2018, 27(04): 66-76.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (2936KB) ( )
Commuting is one of the main functions of urban roads, and separation between workplace and residence is the main cause of traffic congestion. At this stage, the problem of congestion in second-tier cities in China is becoming more and more serious. Taking Fuzhou, a coastal city in China as an example, after the questionnaire surveys of the commuting behavior and commuting perception of urban residents and analyzes the spatial characteristics of residents' commutes in Fuzhou city. Research shows that middle distance is the main range of the commuting behavior, and a significant difference was found under different commuting distance, with the increase of commuting distance, commuter gradually from walking to the moped and again to make the transition to buses, cars, there is an obvious distribution mismatch between workplace and residence and an apparent agglomeration of commuter flow because of the influence of urban spatial structure; at the point of commuting perception, the imagery of markers and area are low, the nodes are the highest, satisfaction is decreasing from the periphery to the center, and affected by sample properties.

Research on the Phenomena and Mechnism of Shrinking Cities in East Germany after Reunification
    2018, 27(04): 90-99.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (2347KB) ( )
In the 1990s, shrinking cities began to spread from developed countries in Europe and the United States to the former socialist countries in Eastern Europe, of which the most typical case is the eastern cities after German reunification. Based on the research about the shrinking cities in East Germany after reunion, this paper focused on the phenomena of reducing population and economic recession attributed to urban shrinkage. The urban shrinkage is accompanied with a large number of factories and companies corrupts, labor markets declines, total population and birth rates decreases, as well as soaring unemployment, etc. The research showed that the shrinkage of eastern German cities is largely due to political systems reform after German reunification. In addition, the urban shrinkage was intensified by a series of reactions such as large-scale emigration, radical privatization, sub-urbanization and transitional subsidies. In the end, the paper made a discussion and reflection on the urban changes caused by the free-fall reform in eastern cities after reunion under the influence of the Washington Consensus.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (1405KB) ( )
The paper made an research on temporal and spatial features and change mechanism of urban land structure across Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations from 2006 to 2015 by adopting the method of Lorenz Curves and Shift-share Model. The result showed that: (1)Overall, The five types of functional sites agglomerations were expanding and the distribution was relatively uniform in Shandong peninsula urban, and there were structural differences. During the 2006-2015, residential land was the most balanced land and its trend was stable, followed by land for public facilities, industrial land and land for road and transport facilities with a trend of balanced distribution, green land distribution from centralized to balanced development. From the regional point of view, the distribution of the most balanced in the northwest of Shandong, followed by central and southern Shandong, east of Shandong is relatively more concentrated. (2)The growing categories include residential land, land for public facilities, land for road and transport facilities and green land belong to a structure of growth, the industrial land belong to a structure of decline; From the spatial distribution, the Qingdao, Jining, Laiwu, Dezhou, Liaocheng and Binzhou's construction land was expanding rapidly, the Qingdao and Jining had a strong competitiveness from while the Jinan was weak. Taian and Heze construction land showed a decreasing trend. The effect of the supply of the rest of the city had the difference between the strong and the weak of which Weifang competitiveness was weak; (3)Urban Construction Land Structure were affected by economic, population, urban residents' living standards and policy factors.

Business incubator is an important platform to promote the development of start-ups and transformation of innovation. It is also one of the strategic measures for the construction of "Global Science and Business incubator is an important platform to promote the development of start-ups and transformation of innovation. It is also one of the strategic measures for the construction of "Global Science and Technology Innovation Center" in Shanghai. The paper explores the distribution of business incubators in Shanghai based on the detailed information of publicly listed incubators by using ArcGIS, and analyses the influencing factors of the distribution of incubators by regarding district as the basic unit. The results show that, business incubators in Shanghai have undergone different stages of development:government-orientation,college-orientation, private enterprise-orientation,and display an obvious polycentric pattern. Most business incubators are agglomerated in central areas of the city, mainly in Pudong,Yangpu and Minhang district. There have been several clusters of business incubators, including Wujiaochang,Zhangjiang High-Tech Park and Caohejing Development District in the core area of Shanghai. The agglomeration characteristic of incubators shows a decreasing trend from the city center to the periphery area. Based on multiple stepwise regression analysis, the result of econometric model indicates that scientific research strength and industrial foundation affect the location of the incubators obviously.

Study on the Evolvement and Spatial Heterogeneity of Core Trajectory of Tourists and Consumer in Hainan Province
    2018, 27(04): 156-166.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (2261KB) ( )
In the world, Hainan Island is a representative of large tropical islands, Hainan Island tourism development trajectory has a certain degree of particularity and typical. The development of tourism in Hainan is extremely imbalance in space, and the tourist flow volume in some cities and counties is disproportionate to the level of tourism income. Under the background of Hainan international tourism island construction and global tourism, how the Hainan Province makes a coordinated development is an urgent problem to be solved. The paper using the center of gravity model for the analysis tools, analyzes the developing orbit of the main part of tourist and consumption in Hainan Province, and also analyzes its impact factors in depth. The results show that since 1996, the focus of tourists and consumption used in the position by east in the whole province has been skewing to south and west year by year. The core of the tourist and the core of consumption has always been inconsistent. Their evolutions have experienced from far to near and from near to far. The tourism development of the province presents the dual-core phenomenon of Haikou and Sanya. And the polarization effect of the two cities has reached saturation, the diffusing effect and driven effect on the periphery have enhanced gradually. In Hainan Province, the main driving factors of the core of tourist development and the core of consumption development include the geographical relationship, resources, policies, products and so on. But the quality of tourism products is the key factor to attract tourists.

Context Identification, Extraction and Application of Traditional Villages——Take Central Plains Area As An Example
    Lei LIU
    2018, 27(04): 167-176.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1105KB) ( )
The traditional villages is the most basic and fundamental bearing units of traditional agriculture China, which is known as "the Chinese nation's DNA" for it reflects the economic, political, ideological, cultural, artistic and other real life forms of the specific region. In recent years, with a series of ecological civilization strategy promulgated, such as the "beautiful China", "beautiful nostalgia", the great value and far-reaching significance of the traditional villages have been widely accepted by the industry both inside and outside, and aroused the enthusiasm of the research. However, there are many existing problems in the development practice, such as obviously utilitarian motive, severely model plagiarism. The protection and development of traditional villages is only regarded as a gimmick and tools for the support of funds and the expansion of regional influence. Under this background, the formulation, promotion, feedback and evaluation of the development strategy is difficult to truly meet the geographical reality, close to the history of the original truth. Especially for the special cases which with the damaged seriously remains basement, history data acquisition hardly, research conditions are not very friendly, such as the Central Plains region. It is particularly important and urgent to eliminate the obstacles and interference, and accurately extract the essence of the regional features, objectively evaluate the effectiveness of existing strategies and to make a lift of the level of development and construction. Paper according to the current situation of the traditional villages in the Central Plains region, combined with the theoretical logic of the local geography of China, focuses on the concept of context identification, through the analysis of the basic concept、leading principle、general train of thought and the case evidence, put forward the strategy of the identification, extraction and application of context.
