Exploration of ideological and political teaching practice of world geography in higher education institutions

Abstract

Abstract:

As a core course of geographical science, world geography is an important way to understand the world and serve the development of China and plays a unique role in the construction of curriculum thought and politics. Based on the integration principle, the construction of the curriculum thinking and politics model and the top-level design of curriculum thinking and politics is carried out. It includes re-imagining political cases as the main teaching content, building online and offline interactive teaching platform, adopting students as the main teaching methods, and forming goal differential teaching evaluation. At present, a set of teaching documents, curriculum resources and relatively complete teaching methods and means have been formed for the practice.

课程思政是当前高校课程改革的重点之一，世界地理作为地理科学专业的核心课程，研究全世界地球表层自然现象和人文现象的地理格局以及它们之间的相互关系和空间分异，是认识世界的重要途径，更能服务于中国的未来发展，在课程思政建设中发挥着独特的作用。世界地理课程思政的建设思路充分参照融合原则，构建课程思政要素模型和搭建课程思政顶层设计，在此基础上开展具体的实施路径：设置双向课程思政目标，引领课程改革；借助时政鲜活实例，切入思政元素；基于混合式教学模式，创新设计课程。重构以思政案例为主线的教学内容、建设线上线下交互式混合教学平台、采用以学生为主体的混合教学方法，形成目标差异化的混合式教学评价。目前，针对开展的实践已经形成了一套较完备的教学文件、课程资源库、教学方法和手段。
