Abstract:

In the context of Sino-US strategic competition, studying the perception of US think tanks on China's participation in Middle East affairs is helpful to judge the dynamics and trends of US government development. The study selects 24 representative research documents from eight mainstream American think tanks as research samples for literature analysis, sorting out the main cognition and characteristics of American think tanks on China's intentions, actual situation, impact on the United States, and how to deal with China's growing influence in the Middle East. The results show that US think tanks' perception of China's participation in the Middle East is mainly negative, which is affected by the situation of Sino-US strategic competition and their own ideological attributes. However, due to the complexity and long-term nature of Middle East affairs, US think tanks also advocate cooperation between China and the United States in the Middle East. my country should view the views of US think tanks dialectically, strengthen communication and exchanges, and accelerate the construction of a Middle East discourse system with Chinese characteristics. At the same time, it should continue to play a greater role in the security and development of the Middle East and eliminate the impact of negative perceptions with practical actions.

摘要：

在中美战略竞争的背景下，研究美国智库对中国参与中东事务的认知，有助于研判美国政府中东政策发展的动态和趋势。研究选取10家美国主流智库的24份代表性研究文献作为研究样本进行文献分析，梳理美国智库对中国参与中东事务的意图、现实情况、对美影响，以及如何应对中国在中东影响力上升等问题的主要认知。研究结果发现，美国智库对中国参与中东事务的认知以负面为主，这是因为受到中美战略竞争态势和自身意识形态属性的影响。但由于中东事务的复杂性和长期性，美国智库也主张中美在中东开展合作。我国应辩证看待美国智库观点，加强沟通和交流，并加快构建有中国特色的中东话语体系。同时，应继续为中东安全和发展发挥更大作用，以实际行动消除负面认知带来的影响。
